The award winning PTR reads SMPTE/EBU time code and displays the time code and/ or user bit data on a 2-line LCD display. "Store" and "Recall" functions allow quick and easy capture and review of up to 50 time code events. Stored time code and/ or user bit numbers can be sent as RS-232 serial data for input to a computer running the included Horita PTR-LOG program for Windows. The PTR-LOG program receives the stored time codes from the PTR and allows the user to add comments and then save as text or comma delimited files.
The Horita RLT-50 connects to the RS-422 9-pin "remote" connector available on most professional video VCR, VTR, disk, and solid state record/playback devices, and translates the RS-422 time code information into standard SMPTE Longitudinal Time Code (LTC). The RLT-50 operates with SD NTSC RS-170A or PAL 625/50 analog composite video and auto detects the video frame rate and outputs the correct 25 FPS or 29.97 FPS drop frame time code. It can also generate 24 FPS time code if the input video frame rate is at 24 FPS.
The TCC-100 is a dual input time code reader that compares two LTC inputs and displays their time difference on an LED display. The TCC-100 can be used to monitor or verify proper operation of various time code equipment, or simply display the time offset between two time code sources.

The TG-50 is a basic SMPTE time code generator/reader for generating time code and for making time code "window dub" copies of video recordings. The TRG-100 is a multi-frame rate SMPTE time code reader/generator with an 8 character red LED display suitable for installation in a studio, video production room, large or small editing suite or in a laboratory or test situation. It can both read and generate time code for SD and HD video frame rates and its small desktop size lets it sit conveniently on a desk top, or be rack or wall mounted. The time code reader can discern between 23.976 and 24 FPS (Frames-Per-Second) time code and between 29.97 and 30 FPS time code and displays the true frame rate. Operation is very simple and is controlled from four front panel switches.
